Remedial Massage
Remedial massage is a treatment that involves assessing and treating muscles, ligaments, tendons and connective tissues to assist the body in it’s rehabilitation, pain and injury management. It’s aim is to speed up the body’s own healing process by stimulating bloody supply, increasing joint mobility and the repair of damaged tissues by tracing the origin of the pain. Techniques used include advanced muscle tension release techniques, trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques.
The purpose of remedial massage is to assist in the balance, length tension and tone of muscles and tendons to aid in the restoration in the correct positioning of the bones to aid the body towards better functional and optimal health.
